Thank you for your continued support, and Happy New Year to you all!
It’s been a crazy ride since I finished my climb up El Cap, and the support I’ve felt since before then is what helped get me up the mountain! Since then many wonderful things have happened, things which have gotten our foundation a lot of attention… with the ultimate gaol of sending more great kids with disabilities to camp. There have been contests and votes and you have been behind me all the way. Again, I’m truly grateful!
While the opportunity is hot and this time will be fleeting, I am the finalist in another contest called America Inspired. I don’t think I would have the nerve to ask you for another thing, but the winnings to the foundation for the Grand Prize Winner is $50,000!
IF you are not sick to death of me asking and asking and asking for yet another favor, I will give you the details. IF your fingers are bruised from voting for me over and over, I really understand!
With this particular contest, there is good news and bad news: The bad news is that you are asked to vote daily until the 27th of this month. The good or fun news is that you can track our placement among the competition daily to see where we are against the competition.
It takes about 30 seconds to sign up and to sign in every day. At the end of the competition, and if you keep the first confirmation email you receive from them, you can VERY easily unsubscribe. Again, no pressure, you have done so much for me. If you are so inclined, that is just terrific. Either way, I am very, very grateful to you for everything you’ve done to advance our foundation.
